QR Identity

QR Identity is the identity binding layer of the Quick Response Code ecosystem. It binds the issuer, the authorized holder, and the registry record into a verifiable identity, with defined assurance levels and rotation and revocation paths.

Function

QR Identity establishes the cryptographic binding between an issuer authorized by QR Registered, a record held in QR Codex, and an authorized holder. Binding rules are published by QR Protocol; binding confirmation is performed by Verification.

Assurance levels

QR Identity defines a tiered set of identity assurance levels for varying use contexts, with rotation and revocation paths recorded in the dossier event history.
