Identity systems

Identity systems is the identity systems reference of the Quick Response Code ecosystem. It documents the cryptographic and operational mechanisms by which issuer, holder, and registry record are bound and by which the binding is verified.

Components

  • Issuer keys — bound to the organization registered through QR Registered.
  • Holder bindings — established under QR Identity, recorded in the dossier event history.
  • Verification handshakes — implemented by the Verification function and consulting QR Identity bindings.
  • Rotation and revocation paths — published by QR Protocol and recorded against the dossier event history.

Relationship to QR Identity

Identity systems is the function-level reference; the ecosystem layer is documented at QR Identity.
