iQR Code
iQR Code is a variant of the Quick Response Code that supports larger payloads, rectangular symbol forms, and inverted (white-on-black) printing.
Capability
iQR Code extends the version range substantially beyond Model 2 and permits both square and rectangular symbol forms. It also supports inverted printing — light modules rendered dark and vice versa — permitting use on dark substrates. It was introduced by Denso Wave and is recognized in ISO/IEC 18004:2015.
Application
iQR Code is used in industrial labeling where a Model 2 symbol of the same physical size would carry an insufficient payload, and in marking applications on dark or reflective substrates where inverted printing is required.
